SUMMARY:Beach Clean Up
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a walk on the beach and fresh ocean breezes while you help pick up trash to keep our beach beautiful and safe for guests and wildlife! \nPlease dress for the weather and bring sunscreen\, bug spray\, water and any other items that will make your hike more enjoyable. If you have your own set of gloves or 5-gallon bucket\, please bring them so we can reduce our own waste. Rubber gloves and trash bags will still be provided. \nPark entry is free for participating volunteers! After the cleanup\, you can enjoy a lunch at Island Beach Grill or relax on the beach and admire your hard work. \nTo join\, please meet at the beach parking lot near Island Beach Grill where you will sign-in to participate in the program. We’ll learn how to increase our chances of seeing dolphins\, how to know what we’re seeing when we see them\, and why these dolphins are so important in our local community. This one-hour easy walk is ideal for children and adults\, experts and admirers. While we can’t guarantee a dolphin sighting\, we certainly can guarantee a beautiful stroll on the beach and a gathering of active learners!\nPlease dress for the weather and meet at the Island Beach Shop & Grill pavilion located at the end of the main park drive. This event is weather permitting and subject to cancellation.\nCost:\nFree with regular park admission fee. ($8.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle. $4.00 per single-occupant vehicle. $2.00 per pedestrians\, bicyclists\, extra passengers\, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass).
