Time: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Location: Due to Weather – The Amp
On Friday, April 19, 2019 the beach at Anastasia State Park will host “A Toast to the Coast” featuring live music, food trucks, concessions and fun – all in an effort to raise funds for the Friends of Anastasia State Park whose mission is to further enhance protection of the natural and cultural resources of Anastasia State Park. Featuring live music by Southern California beach rock reggae duo The Wheeland Brothers and guest Sean McCarthy, “A Toast to the Coast” will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm at The Amp, this is an all ages event that is free and open to the public. Food and alcohol will be for sale during the event. The Wheeland Brothers are two Southern Californian brothers who grew up in Orange County surfing, scarfing down hole-in-the wall Mexican food, and jamming around beach bonfires. They combine fun, catchy melody and lyrics with the cool attitude and positive energy of reggae, as well as the down-to-earth, organic honesty of acoustic rock, ukulele lullabies, and flip flop hip hop. Sunshine music inspired by waves, hangin’ with friends, and dreaming of distant shores.
